Elk Grove Unified School District presents, Valley High School UBO Club 10th Year Anniversary, Breakdance Competition.
Hey you all. This is the UBO club from Valley High School. We are proud to announce our very first Breakdance Competition. This event is happening because of the Elk Grove Sheriff and School District for supporting the club in approving this event. We want to thank all the Alumni's, Board members, Sheriff, Bee Xiong and UBO students for making this CLUB reach its 10th year. We are excited for this event to happen and so, we want to invite you all to come and join us.
ATTENTION:
we will need everyone to sign a liability form either at door of the event or have the waiver be printed out and sign and bring it to the event. This form is very important for all safety measures.
For those who are not 18 years of age, you can print it at home and have your parents sign or we HIGHLY recommend you to bring your parents to the event to sign the waiver and watch you enjoy what you love to do, which is breakdance.
FACILITY:
It will be in the auxiliary room behind the school. The parking lot will be right there as well. You wont miss it. Just drive pass the football field.
ENTRANCE FEE:
All spectators are $5
High school and under students who wants to compete are also $5. I highly advise you to bring your SCHOOL ID FOR PROOF
Adults that are competing will be $10
COMPETITION:
There will be TWO categories for this event.
The first Category will be a High School and under Category. Showcase will be first to see who is qualify for the top 8.
This top 8 will be a 1v1.
ALL AGES:
Showcase will be first for the top 32 selection. Those top 32 will be randomly paired for the top 16. So it will be a 2v2 top 16 category. Remember that this category, High school and under can also enter as well.
WORKSHOP:
From 1pm-2pm.
Entrance fee: $5
Luminous Yang will be hosting the workshop. It will be an hour workshop. He will be teaching his basic stand up warm ups and choreography. So come and learn from the Teacher that taught the UBO club.
