HATERS MAKE ME LAUGH is always something very special, not only because this Hip Hop party is taking place just two or three times a year, nor because you can find here some of the world's best DJ's, but because you can hardly find another club with as many dancers, b-boys and b-girls on a single night. Dancers, music-lovers and friends from all over Germany and Europe can be expected. Besides Dario Scenario (HMML) and Double D (Funk Fusion) we will feature on the turntables: Mr Thing from London! And to top it all we have a very special guest from New York: Mr Wiggles from the legendary Rock Steady Crew! HATERS MAKE ME LAUGH – good vibes guaranteed!
Known worldwide as a DJ, turntablist and producer "Mr Thing" is a name that always brings a smile to the faces with his genius skills and unique style which he is known for. Since first touching turntables in 1987 he has worked non-stop perfecting his style and belongs to the best in his field worldwide. In 1999 he won the DMC World DJ Championships with the Scratch Perverts just like he won the DMC UK DJ Championship the following year. During his courier he traveled the world and performed along side artists such as Jazzy Jeff, Beastie Boys, Run-D.M.C., Slum Village or KRS-One – just to mention a few. Furthermore he is responsible for excellent mixtapes and compilations such as "Strange Breaks & Mr Thing" or the rightly titled "Kings of Hip Hop" with DJ Premier.
There is one more surprise! HATERS MAKE ME LAUGH moves to the Hafenpark at the east side of Frankfurt. Dancing will take place at the “Montez Frankfurt“! No other "off-location" is more sought after at this time and could not be more appropriate for the 9th edition of HATERS MAKE ME LAUGH!
