We’re back! After a long break, Attention to Detail is returning and proud to present the first event of the year.
Attention to Detail is a UK bboy jam created in 2009. After years of running events around the UK and Europe, the team is making its return in East London for a fun afternoon of high quality dancing, community spirit and good vibes. As well as being a 1on1 breaking (breakdance) competition, ATD is an amazing opportunity for all UK dancers to represent in the circles, have fun and inspire each other.
The competition is a unique concept where 8 invited dancers not only battle but also judge the whole tournament, from the 1st round to the final!
- We will start the day with qualifiers to select 8 best dancers that will go through to the main competition.
- This will be followed by the 1st round of battles: 1 qualified dancer vs 1 invited dancer
- And subsequently, the remaining dancers will battle from the quarters all the way to the final after which the ATD Champion is crowned!

This event is a collaboration between ATD and Hackney Children’s Theatre (HTC), a performance company focused on creative events and workshops for the further development of the local community. From the 5th until 9th of June, HTC and ATD are organising 5 days of dance workshops for young dancers aged 12+. These will be led by some of the finest/inspirational dancers in the UK. We will post the details for the workshops soon.
