After universal success, Breakin’ Convention celebrates its 10th anniversary with a homecoming. The international hip-hop dance theater festival will return to its Bronx roots this summer at the famous Apollo theater. Emceed by Breakin’ Convention’s Artistic Director and Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist, Jonzi D. and Hip Hop legend MC Lyte, this international festival will have artists from around the globe on stage, under the marquee, and throughout the building in a hip-hop takeover. Events include improvisation performances, graffiti demonstrations, workshops, panel discussions, and more.
Ticket prices range from $15 - $38 (not including package prices); some events are free.
