Join us in Santa Barbara this Spring!
Chicago Footwork pioneer and international teacher, King Charles, is coming to Santa Barbara for a weekend filled with masterclasses, dance battles, talk backs, and community building!
Everybody Dance Now! Santa Barbara is hosting an ADULT 2 vs 2 OPEN STYLES BATTLE on Thursday, May 30th at 8:30PM at the St. George Youth Center (889 Camino Del Sur, Isla Vista) immediately after the Gaucho Street Dance Chicago Footwork Community Masterclass with King Charles (7-8:30PM).
Note: The final battle round is planned to take place at the Everybody Dance Now! 5th Annual Day of Movement on Saturday June 1st in Isla Vista for our youth and community. If the final contestants can't make the event on Saturday, the final round will continue and take place on Thursday night.

EDN! is so glad to be partnering with Gaucho Street Dance, a local student-led organization at UCSB that offers free dance classes to university students every weekend.
Many thanks to our partnership with St. George Youth Center, for allowing us to utilize your space for our events and allowing us to dance with your teens on a weekly basis!!
FOOD: The center's teens and their parents will be cooking plates of taquitos, rice and beans, and salsa for sale to support the teen center. Baked goods and water will also be available for purchase at the Thursday night battle, so make sure to bring some cash to support.
The event itself is donation-based with proceeds support local EDN youth dance programming, and no one will be turned away if they cannot make a donation.
