The Kulture of Hype & Hope is back for the upcoming four seasons with a extra GRAND FINAL (Gold edition) at the end. We are happy to announce that there are a few new aspects than in our recent four events.
The concept:
Every 3 months when the season change, there is an edition of The Kulture of Hype & Hope. With the season we change the theme of the event. There are always 1vs1 Battles in the style HipHop and Break.
Fall = Wind: Locking
Winter = Water: House
Spring = Earth: Popping
Summer = Fire: KRUMP

NEW Kulture Ranking(KR):
There will be a point system of your wins throughout every edition of the Kulture of Hype&Hope. If you go through the preselection, you get a point. If you win a battle, you get a point. The winners of each style will have a total of five Kulture pionts after one edition. The winner of The Hypest Cypher will gain three Kulture points. The tokens you win in another edition are added to your total. All dancers with points are registrated in the Kulture Ranking. After four editions the eight dancers with the most points it their category are qualified for the 7-to-smoke battles during the Gold edition of The Kulture of Hype&Hope. There will be five 7-to-smoke battles with a big price waiting for the winner in the end. One for Hiphop +16, one for Hiphop -16, one for Break +16, one for Break -16 and one All style 7-to-smoke for the four seasonal top ranked dancers combined. Its going to be a strong competitive race till the end of the year.
If you are not going for a 7-to-smoke spot in the Gold edition you can also choose to spend your Kulture points as discount on entry fees, masterclass fees or The Kulture of Hype&Hope merchandise. Each Kulture point has a value of 2,50 euro. Spend them wisely!
NEW HipHop -16 / BBoying -16:
We noticed a lot of kids/ teenagers are wanting to express themselves at the events. So we thought about the competition for the kids/ teenagers too! The same point system are also for the -16 because they have the change to grow every edition at The Kulture of Hype&Hope.
NEW 3 judges / 1 judge:
At The Kulture of Hype and Hope we find it very important that the dancer who are competing are judged by professionals in their style. So in the past we had 1 judge for every style. Because of the growth of our event we are able to provide the dancers with 3 judges of HipHop & Break and 1 judge for the seasonal based style.
NEW masterclass:
The second day of our event will be a masterclass of our international or special judge of the styles HipHop and Break. In these masterclasses you can learn from the best of the best.
NEW (Urban) Theater Showcase:
We are seeing a development in the possibilities of our culture and art form which we would like to share with our visitors. The Kulture of Hype & Hope will provide its dancers with showcases of urban theater, giving them insights to future possibilities in this dance form.
The Hypest Cypher:
We created the Hypest cypher to focus dance back to where it all started. The jam sessions in the cyphers. The Hypest cypher is a concept to keep the jam session alive. The one of all dancers who is the Hypest of all cyphers during that timespan will be the Winner of The Hypest cypher. There will be a mystery judge during the day, so keep that cypher alive! The winner of The Hypest Cypher gains 3 Kulture Points to their registrated Kulture Ranking.
