THE THROWDOWN - SEVEN2SMOKE PRE QUALIFIER IBE 2013
As part of the 'Break A Leg' dance event The Cypher will host a Bboy Room with a lot good music and intense cyphers. The only program this day will be a Seven2Smoke. To do it right we connect this competition back to the source:
IBE is the home of Seven2Smoke. In 2002 Seven2Smoke was created by members of the Rotterdam based crews Got Skillz and 010 BBoyz at their weekly wednesday night practice at community center "De Dam". The first official Seven2Smoke took place at IBE 2002. Today there are Seven2Smoke battles all over the world but the battle at IBE still reigns as the official Seven2Smoke. The one that everybody wants to win.
So we are proud to say that this Seven2Smoke is not only officially approved but it is also a Pre Qualifier for IBE 2013!!
Seven2Smoke Rules:
- 8 Bboys face each other in a 1 round 1on1 battle.
- Winner of each round stays and gets 1 point. The loser goes back in line.
- Battle is over as soon as 1 Bboy smokes 7 Bboys in a row (without losing) or the one with the most wins after 20 minutes battle time.
- When Bboys have the same amount of wins after 20 minutes the battle is decided by a Tie breaker.

THE CYPHER
The Cypher is an Amsterdam based organisation that started end of 2011 to organize Bboy events called The Throwdown. The main goal is to bring the local Bboy scene together, share knowledge, culture and jam!
