- TOP KID 2018 Battle Competitors:
* All Competitors must be between the ages of 4 to 17 to battle.
* Pre-Register to RSVP your Battle Slot. Facebook message "Check-It" or respond to this event page. Registration is First Come, First Serve. You can register on the day of the event as long as there are available spots.
* Please arrive no later than 12pm on PART 1 to ensure you're checked in for the battle, as well as have enough time to warm up and stretch. Battles will begin promptly at 12:30pm.
*Top Kid Edition 2018 is the highlight and final act of the ABQ Kids Rock Festival on PART 2. This Battle will feature the Top 16 Kids.
* If your child qualifies for the TOP 16 Battle on PART 2, please arrive to Civic Plaza no later than 7pm.

Free Soul Battle/Top Kid is a nightclub concept & festival specific Urban Dance battle created by Christopher"Check-It" Lim of The Dancing Turtle LLC & Check-It Productions in September of 2008. Originating from the Chicago underground dance scene, Free Soul Battle has evolved into a high energy, fast paced, and crowd inclusive highlight for festivals and nightclubs around the USA. The "Top Kid" concept battle was created within Free Soul Battle in 2015 to include the younger generation in festival battles.
