MŌŌV Ottawa Dance is officially launching this Summer! And what better way than to host the first ever DANCE BATTLE during the Ottawa Asian Night Market 2018 - Chinatown and it is FREE! While you’re enjoying the delicious cuisine from the market, dancers will be battling outdoors to win the cash prize for your entertainment! Come enjoy some good food and great entertainment for all ages!

What exactly is a dance battle and what to expect?
When 1, 2, or a group of dancers compete against each (think of a tournament) for prize money, a plaque, bragging rites and a title of the winner.
Our Breakin’ Category (or the mainstream term used, “Break Dancing”) will consist of Bboys and Bbgirls who will be dancing against each other to Hip Hop/Break Beats/Funk music until we reach 2 final dancer competing at the end.
Our Open Styles/All Styles Category will consist of various dancers with specialties within Street Dance who will also be competing and be challenged to adapt their dancing to various types of music.
