What is a Solitaire battle?
Play your Cards Right is Funk N Sole Entertainment's premier breaking battle which made its debut June 2009. It features a unique concept battle called the Solitaire Battle.
This unique concept battle takes the top 16 individual dancers of the competition and mixed them into two random teams of 8 by simply pulling names out of a hat. The team who advances gets randomly split into two teams and so on until there are only two dancers left.
This brings together dancers who usually would not dance on the same team together, and at the same time keeps everyone with a competitive edge. The breaker that helped you win the battle might be your opponent next round.
This year, Funk N Sole Entertainment will be holding qualifiers in Winnipeg and Calgary for the final event on November 12th 2016 at the Surrey City Hall.
