Phoenix Jam is a youth focused out door street art event with lots of amazing activities taking place through out the day including Skating, Basket ball, Graffiti, Live music, Rap and Street Dance Battles.
The Street Dance Battles side of the day is organized by Bad Taste Cru & supported by Battle Lions Crew in association with the Phoenix Detached Youth Project.
Every year the best of North East U-18 street dance scene take to the park for a day of battles and performances.
This year there are two battle categories for young people aged 18 or under to enter
1. 2 vs 2 - Breaking
2. 2 vs 2 - All Styles

Last year saw some of the most exciting battles at Phoenix Jam yet, with the best of local Hip Hop Dance/Street/Break dance crews go face to face in a highly energetic and action packed day.
In the end the best teams took the win, but the day wasn't about the winning. it was about turning up, representing your crew or your self, learning, sharing, meeting other young people with similar interests and HAVING FUN!!!
If you'd like to take part in the battles or performances on the day please post your crew name and/group name on thie page and we'll add you to the list.
Please arrive at 1pm if you are competing, performing or jamming. This is an out door event, And it's FREE so please tell everyone. And food is available to purchase nearby on the day.
