The Elevate the Streets Jam is a one-day dance event that celebrates the potential for breaking (b-boying/b-girling) to spread positivity within and between youth communities.
To date, our team has successfully completed 4-6 week long dance programmes with at-risk youths (YARs) in partnership with Bethesda Care Services and Trybe Ltd. We hope the jam will provide an opportunity to immerse our young friends in the culture and interact with members of the hip-hop community.
Highlights:
> Clothes and Shoes Donation Booth in support of Project Kapayapaan. Project Kapayapaan is a global hip-hop effort to engage, educate and inspire Philippine youth. Got any gear collecting dust in your wardrobe? Bring it over to the jam!

Jam Format:
1. Dynamic Duo 2v2
Registration at door. No online sign-up sheet required.
A) Cypher Qualifications. Judges will have their pick of 16 outstanding individuals* to move on to the battle rounds.
B) These 16 breakers will be randomly paired with 16 other pre-selected breakers to move on to a 2v2 top 16 battle.
*All attendees of the jam are eligible for consideration.
2. Institution Exhibition Battles <>
Winner of the Exhibition Battles from various pre-U institutions will compete against an invited crew.
