An informed music lover and co-owner of the Afro Kats record label, he is interested in all genres, but has a soft spot for funk and tropical. GrandHuit is the founder of Tour De Manège collective, an international collective of beatmakers which has been known all over the world with many various projects and records to be able to help the beat scene to continue its expansion. After many years of productions, travels and new people, he developed his ears with different music and styles and now share them with crowds with eclectic vinyl set.
He played alongside many different international artists such as GUTS, Elaquent, GREMS, The Architect, Kognitif, Ours Samplus, etc...and many local DJs such as Voyage Funktastique, Kris Guilty, etc..... His gigs made him play in various city like Montréal, Paris, Firenze, Krakow, Praha, etc...
Now into the funk and jazz music, his sets are travels between styles like disco-funk, boogie, afro-grooves, american-funk, canadian and french music and a tropical touch from his Reunion Island, France and Morocco origines. Always in the need of new discovery and oldschool digging he continue to find new records across the world to complete his collection, both in solo or with his elders and mentors like Walla P or DJ KOBAL.
